I like this App a lot; I use it to store reference infomation - codes, phone numbers, membership information, etc. But, it has a problem with the latest update. It keeps opening over other windows. It use to be that a double click on the icon would close the pop-up window and to re-open it you just had to click once on the icon. The auto-opening is a real pain as it covers other windows in use and won’t go a way unless you click quit and then when you want to use it you have to go to Find and re-open it. If I can’t get this problem solved I will have to dump the App and use an alternate program. Also, the Hot Key to open the App, doesn’t work.

Upgraded to the most current version this morning, and now all it does is interject itself over my running program all day long. I loved Notes Tab until this update… now I may just end up deleting it because it is THAT annoying. I can’t seem to find a way to stop it from popping up all the time. For now, it is closed…. so, really not useful like it used to be. Please fix it.

I don’t use this anymore, and will uninstall as soon as I find time to copy over my notes to one note or word. I can’t stand the auto-open. I do full-screen mode for multiple apps, and everytime I switch, it pops open. Why are there no options to not have it auto open? Come on developers, who thought this was a useful feature?

Keeps popping up randomly. I will disable it until it’s fixed.

I use this app all the time. Like the other reviews, since the last update, the note tab keeps opening up at random. This app went from 5 stars to 2 stars. Please restore this app to the way it was.

Recently updated this app and now what once was a handy tool at the ready in the background keeps popping over windows when I fullscreen them. I’m one week from deleting. In fact I would’ve already deleted if it didn’t mean… Know what? I just went in backed things up and deleted. Sorry but if you’re in my face that much I’m out.

Stop the AUTO OPEN for version 4.3!!!

So annoyning latest update. I’m looking for another app now.

Everyone else has kind of mentioned this problem, but when you move from one screen to another or open an app in full screen mode the NotesTab keeps opening up and the only way to stop that is to quit the whole application. But then if I want to take a note I have to load the application again which defeats the whole purpose of having this! I absolutely love this app, but PLEASE FIX that bug with the latest update! For now I’m keeping the application closed, but once it’s fixed I can’t wait to start using it again! :)

Notes now overtakes full screen video mode. Can not set preferences to hide it. Watching netflix is inpossible now without having that stupid notes box showing up. Fix please. this should not happen.

The new version opens up each time you start the Mac, or each time you change tabs in Safari, you have to manually close NotesTap each time. Would not recommend this new version.

The app is great as always, except it keeps appearing everytime I switch to fullscreen. It is a minor problem, but really annoying.

…now it opens all the time. ALL THE TIME. It was a fine little program, didn’t use it a super ton, but it was nice to have. But with this new thing where it pops open covering what I’m working on all the time, I’m tempted to uninstall if a fix doesn’t come out soon.

I’m not sure what everybody is talking about to be honest.. It doesn’t open by itself for me.. maybe you guys have a keyboard shorcut for the app and hitting it while doing other random stuff? I don’t know.. I like the app, it does what it’s supposed to do! A little pad for taking notes, right there in the task bar.. I’m sure I’d be seriously annoyed as well if it popped up by itself all the time.. but so far so good :)

I keep getting an error when I try to run the update. And now, I cannot open the application neither can I delete and reinstalll. I have tried to get a resolution but still no feedback or response.

not a huge fan

i use this app at work. my boss got tired of my post its everywhere :) i love this app. things have been particularly crazy, so it’s the only thing keeping me organized at the moment. i’m actually thinking about paying 4.99 for the app (i have the free version) because it would be nice to move the window where every i want or change the size so it doesn’t impede on my work. i’m the kind of person out of sight out of mind. it would be good to have it open all the time. i really suggest this to people who want to be neat and organized, especially if you’re a post it person like me.

Well, the letters are so large, or the spaces between lines are small making the notes seemed crowded and unpleasant to read. Also, the font is really boring. But the overall design is comfortable.

May start using it again of they update the design for Yosemite
