Almost exactly what I needed

With the upgrade to Mavericks, I was incredibly saddened by the fact that I could no longer use Sidenote, which has served me well for the last few years. I tried Evernote as a replacement, but it seemed to be a huge memory and CPU hog; I need to have my note program open all the time so I can just drop things into new notes on the fly, and not have to a) wait for a program to open and b) close the program in the first place because it’s making everything else lag. NotesTab is doing the job pretty nicely so far. All it’s missing is the ability to format text, and the ability to color-code notes.
